1. The way the acetate wings were configured and attached to the tabs that held them
in place, was so badly designed that the wings would break off easily and 
immediately. The tab that held them in place was too short and the wing at that point
was too narrow.  A bend or two was all it would take to cause them to break.
2. Only two of the toys had flapping wings. Yet, all the other characters whose wings were stationary were attached by using the same tabs that were used as part of the flapping motor, but without the motor, so they just flopped around there, giving the impression that the toy was broken!  There were two easy fixes for that. One would have permitted the wings to flap manually when the tail was turned.  The other would have held them stationary, so, the impression that they toy was broken would not happen.
3. The legs and feet were designed badly, making the toys difficult, if not impossible to stand, without falling over backwards.  A simple change could have corrected this.
